Become a Coach/Assistant coach in Our Recreational Program
As San Francisco Glens continues to grow, we are seeking more coaches to help with our Recreational program for this upcoming Fall.
Please get in touch with us right away if you are interested in becoming a coach!
All our Coaches will be background checked, become licensed through the USSF (United States Soccer Federation), and will take advantage of our new e-Learning coaching program, which is designed to aid the development of the coach and produce ideas of how to have a successful season.
In addition, recreational program coaches work closely alongside the Director of Coaching and other senior coaching members within the club to ensure a curriculum is being followed and standards achieved. A club assistant coach will be assigned to each team. This person brings great experience in coaching and a good background knowledge of soccer training methodologies. We do this in order to give our recreational coaches an assistant that they can work with to achieve team seasonal goals.
There’s also some direct benefits for the coach as well. All our recreational coaches receive free club apparel from our official product manufacturer, Admiral, for them to wear at all practice sessions and games. And, at the end of the season, volunteer coaches will have the fee for their own child reimbursed after meeting with the DOC.
